I assume it's reference to goal tending, and you can't play the ball while still inside a cylider projected upward from the rim of the basket.
But then, I think basketball would be a better game if played on ice and if the players could check. (Picked OSU for the champs in the pool. Also completed all brackets in under 5 minutes. Going to be second. So, umm, Ha, ha!)

Ohio had very little right to win tht game. Gtown just wasn't playing their best, and kept getting BS fouls. I know they claim it was goal-tending, but that was still a BS call.
hah! It was actually the only game I watched, and only because my friend's aunt, who lives nearby, was having people over and they invited us, which was lots of fun. I deliberately wasn't watching for a while bc I had missed the first few and then didn't want to jinx them. But it wasn't my fault!!!!
yeah, even i was rooting for gtown, but i did not see the game... how depressing... at least they made it that far, the hawks kind of tanked this year... not that i will let anyone but me say anything about them! GO HAWKS! what a true philly fan i am... i will not let anyone but me badmouth my team, but i will watch every second of any game i go to...
So I didn't watch and I'm not professing loyalty one way or the other, but if "Gtown just wasn't playing their best" wouldn't that mean that, in fact, Ohio did have a right to win the game?
eh, go be all technical somewhere else. There were bad foul calls and such that, if they hadn't been there, would have meant a much closer score, and a much better possibility of overtime or a Gtown win.

It was so sad-and what was that bs about the 'cylinder' of the basket??? I've NEVER heard that. And it cost us two valuable points!!!
